His gestures are very aggressive and often contradict what he is saying. He points his index finger a lot and uses a lot of very deliberate right angled gestures away from his chest and next to above his shoulder level. Watch a video of Hitler giving a speec and see what I mean. Also at one point he is saying something about Jehovah sustaining us but he is shaking bis head which tells us he doesn't believe this!! There's a lot more wrong with this. He's like an animatronic from a theme park.

the aina haina neighborhood has longed for a drugstore chain to open in the area.

both walgreens and longs have stores in hawaii kai about four miles away.. duane shimogawa covers energy, real estate and economic development for pacific business news.

i am pretty sure it has been discussed before here, but i just wanted to express how repulsive it is to me to see all that jw.org worship.. after looking at this picture, can you tell me where the jws are heading to?.

You know, I'm recently out of jws, so recently out that I was a delegate t the last round of international conventions in 2009. Even as recently as then, all we were given was the odd business card or other home-printed postcard type thing. The Japanese might give you a small origami. I gave poor Asian children books and pencils. This jw jewelry and jw.org trinkets and junk mass produced by organising big groups of people is entirely new to this year.

most jws i know of do not put business deals in writing.

they simply "trust their brother".

How many of you followed the WTS direction on education years ago and have been screwed by it?

i'm really interested in this question because i've heard for years that if you forgo further education and go pioneering, when you have a family down the track you will get a good job because jehovah will provide for you because you pioneered.

as long as i was a kool-aid drinker, even then, i thought, "how does pioneering pay your bills?

surely education should come first.

Hi great teacher, I can certainly relate in that the jw religion has permanently wrecked my mental health and impaired my ability to be a teacher. Still, you have your degree and whatever you do in the future, you can always fall back on that profession. I now work a minimum wage job (which I love) at a theme park and will do the odd day here and there as a relief teacher for a bit of extra cash and the academic rigour of engaging with students and curriculum. So even though I got my degree as a jw (one of the rare ones cuz my parents weren't jws) they still managed to screw up my career.

Bumping! This after hearing about ex jws who were told all their lives university/college education was selfish and wicked and pointless, but are now old and slaving away at minimum wage jobs they'll be doing 10 years after they die...

Demons - Possession - Dreams & Witnesses

i would like to get some opinions from you all.. .

have you known a lot of witnesses that have dealt with demon issues?

have you personally dealt with problems with demons?

Of course I had demon experiences as a jw. As soon as I left and stopped believing in demons, I had no more demo experiences. A jw fears these imaginary critters, tells other jws all about them, and before you know it, smurfs are walking around in kingdom halls and the Jws are even more scared. Add to that those jw publications that are always rabbiting on about demons, and you've got a bunch of jittery, addled brains seeing things that aren't there.
